Restaurants in Morocco

All restaurants across Morocco

Morocco's dining scene reaches far beyond tagine and couscous, and this guide focuses on the tables worth planning a night around. Marrakech leads on atmosphere, with rooftop restaurants overlooking the medina and hidden riad courtyards serving contemporary Moroccan tasting menus. Casablanca sets the pace for coastal seafood, oyster bars and international dining along the Corniche and Ain Diab, while Rabat's Kasbah des Oudayas and Agadir's marina offer a slower, family-friendly rhythm. Expect long lunches, unhurried service and dinner starting late, especially in summer. Reservations are strongly recommended for the best rooftops and for Friday and Saturday nights year round; many medina addresses seat fewer than thirty guests. Dress smart-casual for rooftop tables. Most listings here are editorial rather than directly bookable through MaJourneys, so message us on WhatsApp for table recommendations, walking distances from your riad, and help arranging a driver for the evening.
