Yes during Christmas, Easter, May and October peak weeks, and any time it's wet (the salon with log fire is small). Off-season walk-ins usually find a table.

Are signature dishes order-ahead?

Yes. The 7-hour lamb mechoui and the pigeon b'stilla require advance ordering — email the restaurant or call when you book.

What about the cooking courses?

The Ruined Garden runs in-house bread-making and meat-free cooking classes, 10:00–13:00, 550 MAD per person including a light lunch.

Is it hard to find?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the medina is car-free and many maps are unreliable. With notice, the staff can meet you at Place de la Batha and walk you the 5–6 minutes downhill.
