- Bou Inania Madrasa in Fez is widely considered the high point of Marinid architecture in Morocco: a courtyard madrasa built between 1350 and 1355 that uniquely also functioned as a Friday mosque, with a prominent square minaret, intricate carved cedar, stucco arabesques and green-on-white zellij.
