7.5-hectare royal garden between the two medinas

The Jnan Sbil (also Bou Jeloud) gardens are Fez's largest historic green space — 7.5 hectares of palms, jacarandas, bamboo and citrus trees opened to the public in 1917 and fully restored 2006–2010 under the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection.
