MonRiad is a charming riad-restaurant in the heart of Marrakech's medina, steps from Bahia Palace and five minutes from Jemaa el-Fna. With an Italian soul and a Moroccan heart, it serves both classic Moroccan dishes — tagine, couscous, harira — and Italian cuisine on a rooftop terrace that frames the Koutoubia mosque and the medina skyline at sunset. Opened in May 2010 and fully renovated, MonRiad is a romantic dinner destination prized for its view, its attentive staff, and menus that also cater to vegetarian and gluten-free diners.
