L'Mida

Modern Moroccan rooftop restaurant in the heart of the medina

Chat with us

L'Mida is a modern Moroccan restaurant set across two levels of a traditional riad in Rahba Kdima, steps from Marrakech's historic spice market. Founded by Omar Lyazidi and Mohammed Sebbagh, the kitchen is led by chef Narjisse Benkabbou, a Moroccan cookbook author known for reimagining classic Moroccan recipes with seasonal, locally sourced produce.

The dining room — designed by Noon Interior Studio with white marble tables, green and mustard banquettes, and rattan seating — gives way to a rooftop terrace with sweeping views over the medina rooftops, the Koutoubia minaret, and the Atlas Mountains. The restaurant serves no alcohol; instead it has built a reputation for inventive non-alcoholic mocktails and fresh infusions.

Dishes are made for sharing and change with the seasons. Expect contemporary takes on Moroccan classics — tagines, Berber gnocchi, lentil croquettes — prepared with the produce of the day. Reservations are recommended, particularly for the rooftop at sunset.
