Grand Café de la Poste

Grand Café de la Poste is one of Marrakech's most storied dining institutions — a 1920s colonial-era brasserie in Guéliz where Art Déco architecture, ceiling fans, marble tabletops, and cast-iron banisters transport diners to the French Protectorate era. Taken over in 2005 by the team behind Bô-Zin and restored by Studio KO (designers of the YSL Museum Marrakech), the café has hosted legendary figures including Jacques Majorelle and General Lyautey. The menu blends French brasserie classics with Moroccan touches — from onion soup and escargot to beef tagine and the signature Grand Marnier soufflé — served from breakfast through to the last drink at 1 AM.
