Dar Yacout in Marrakech is one of the oldest and most celebrated restaurant tables in the medina, housed in an 18th-century riad in the Bab Doukkala quarter. Founded by Mohamed Zkhiri and interiors conceived by the legendary American designer Bill Willis, the restaurant offers a fixed set-menu dinner — a traditional Moroccan diffa — served across candlelit salons and a courtyard strewn with rose petals. Evenings begin with aperitifs on the panoramic rooftop terrace overlooking the Koutoubia minaret and the medina roofscape, before guests descend through sculpted plasterwork corridors to dine by the sounds of live Gnawa and Andalusian musicians.
