Taverne du Dauphin
Casablanca's iconic family-run seafood brasserie since 1958
Taverne du Dauphin is one of Casablanca's most enduring dining institutions — a family-run seafood brasserie at 115 Boulevard Félix Houphouët-Boigny, steps from the old medina and the port. Founded in 1958 by Mme Margaret and run by four generations of the same family ever since, it has fed fishermen, sailors, artists, and locals for over 70 years. The menu centres on the freshest daily catch: fried fish, grilled seafood, Dakhla oysters, crevettes pil-pil, the celebrated Trio de Poissons, and a legendary Tagine de Poisson. White tablecloths, blue napkins, and an unpretentious neighbourhood atmosphere make it a true Casablanca classic.
