Borj Nord & Arms Museum
1582 Saadian fortress overlooking the medina
Built in 1582 by Saadian sultan Ahmad al-Mansour and modelled on contemporary Portuguese forts, Borj Nord houses Morocco's first arms museum (founded 1963) and offers one of the widest panoramic views over Fes el-Bali. Reopened in March 2025 after extensive renovation.
