Parc Lahboul is a historic public park of around five hectares in the heart of Meknes, laid out on terraces above the Oued Boufekrane just below the medina walls and Bab El Mansour. Dating from the early 20th century and shaded by mature trees and palms, it has long been a place for local families to stroll and relax. It contains a small zoo and a 1930s open-air theatre still used for events, and reopened in 2024 after a full restoration led by the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection.
