Royal Mansour Spa is the wellness wing of the Royal Mansour hotel on Rue Abou El Abbas Sebti, inside the Marrakech medina. The white latticework atrium that greets you at the door is the most photographed room in any Marrakech spa, and treatments are open to people who are not staying at the hotel.

Royal Mansour Spa in Marrakech is the wellness wing of the Royal Mansour hotel, the palace property commissioned by King Mohammed VI and opened in June 2010 on Rue Abou El Abbas Sebti.
The spa occupies its own riad inside the estate and runs to 2,500 square metres, with ten treatment rooms and three spa suites.
Its atrium is the room everyone photographs: a white latticework cage of interlocking Moorish geometry rising above a marble floor and a fountain.
A heated pool sits under an orangerie style glass roof, next to the marble hammam, the sauna and the fitness room.
You do not have to be staying at the hotel. Treatments and wellness programmes are open to non residents.

Best time

The pool and hammam are indoors, so the spa reads the same in January as it does in July.
Marrakech afternoons in summer regularly pass 40C, which is the obvious window to be inside a marble hammam.
Structured wellness programmes run alongside single treatments if you want more than one session.

How to combine

The Koutoubia Mosque, whose 77 metre minaret is the tallest structure in the medina, is about 500 metres east.
La Mamounia and its gardens are roughly 400 metres south along the same stretch of rampart.
Jemaa el Fna is around a kilometre east, a walk of about fifteen minutes past the Koutoubia gardens.
The Cyberparc Arsat Moulay Abdeslam, a walled garden laid out in the 18th century, is a short walk north on Avenue Mohammed V.
