Les Bains de Marrakech is a hammam and spa in the Kasbah quarter of the Marrakech medina, at 2 Derb Sedra just inside the Bab Agnaou gate. It has been open for more than twenty years and was fully renovated in 2021. Rituals run from one hour to four hours and are built out of hammams, mud treatments, baths, facials and massages.

Les Bains de Marrakech is a hammam and spa in the Kasbah quarter of the Marrakech medina, at 2 Derb Sedra a few steps inside the Bab Agnaou gate.
The spa has been running for more than twenty years and was fully renovated in 2021, so the medina architecture stays but the plumbing behind it is new.
It was one of the first addresses in the city to build private hammams with double massage cabins and duo baths, which is why couples end up here.

Best time

Late afternoon suits a hammam best, once the walking through the souks is done for the day.
In summer the Marrakech heat peaks between noon and four, which is the obvious window to be indoors and in water.
The spa opens all seven days, so it also fills a Friday when much of the medina slows down.

How to combine

Bab Agnaou, the Almohad stone gate built in the 12th century, stands at the top of the same street.
The Saadian Tombs are about 150 metres away, next to the Kasbah Mosque and its green tiled minaret.
El Badi Palace, the ruined Saadian palace of Ahmad al-Mansur, is a ten minute walk through the same quarter.
Jemaa el Fna is roughly one kilometre north, about fifteen minutes on foot through Rue Riad Zitoun.
