Why book
- Le Spa de La Mamounia in Marrakech is the 2,500 square metre wellness floor of La Mamounia, the hotel that opened on Avenue Bab Jdid in 1923.
- The interiors come from the 2009 renovation led by the French designer Jacques Garcia, which is why the spa reads closer to a Paris grande dame than to a medina bathhouse.
- Two traditional hammams and one private hammam sit alongside ten treatment cabins, two of them doubles.
- A heated indoor pool, a jacuzzi, a sauna, a gym, a barber and a nail salon complete the floor.
- The hammam rooms are finished in pale marble and dark mosaic, deliberately dim and kept thick with steam.
