Rooftop restaurant
Terrasse des Épices is an open-air rooftop restaurant in the heart of the Marrakech medina, set above souk Cherifia in the Sidi Abdelaziz quarter. Created in 2007, it serves Moroccan and Mediterranean fusion cooking on a terrace with views over the medina rooftops toward the Atlas Mountains and the Koutoubia minaret.
It is part of the restaurant group of Marrakech restaurateur Kamal Laftimi, who also runs Café des Épices and Le Jardin and co-founded Nomad. The venue pairs a Marrakchi kitchen with a bar and live music in the evening, and keeps a small pâtisserie on a lower floor.
