Is there an entry fee for the square?

No. Plaza Uta el-Hammam is a public open square, free to enter at any hour. You only spend money if you sit at a café, eat at a restaurant, or pay separately to enter the neighbouring Kasbah museum.

What can you see from Plaza Uta el-Hammam?

From the square you look directly at the ochre walls and towers of the 15th-century Kasbah and the octagonal minaret of the Grand Mosque, with the blue-washed medina houses climbing the hillside behind them. It is one of the best places in Chefchaouen to take in the town's landmarks in a single view.
