Activities in Morocco

All activities across Morocco

Activities across Morocco span four very different worlds within a single trip: the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts for surfing, kite lessons, and boat trips; the Sahara for camel treks, desert camps, and dune quads; the Atlas Mountains for waterfall hikes, Berber village walks, and horse or mule days; and the medinas for cooking classes, food tours, hammams, and rooftop pottery or henna workshops. Most first-time visitors base themselves in Marrakech (the biggest activity hub), then add a coastal stop like Essaouira or Agadir and a desert night at Agafay or Merzouga. Half-day formats of two to four hours fit an afternoon; full-day tours run eight to twelve hours with a lunch stop. Spring and autumn are the most comfortable months; summer works on the coast, and winter is peak desert season.
