Hédy sits on the eighth and top floor of Le Square by ONOMO Collection, a five-star hotel in an Art Deco building at the corner of Rue Jean Jaurès and Rue Moussa Bnou Noussair, in Casablanca's Gauthier district. The room is designed like a private apartment by Fabrice Maurel's studio, with seventies touches, mirrors, dark wood, brass and deep burgundy, fuchsia and yellow tones, and two open-air terraces look out over the city. Chef Fayçal Bettioui cooks French cuisine with Moroccan accents, made for sharing: burrata in the spirit of a zaalouk, knife-cut beef tartare with a light harissa, beef paleron tanjia style with prunes and polenta, cannelloni with spinach, ricotta and preserved lemon, a whole turbot and a lamb shoulder for two. Lunch and dinner are served every day. Reserve free through MaJourneys: you pay the restaurant directly on the day, and nothing is charged online.
