Quad Biking in Agafay

Quad biking in Agafay is a guided off-road ride on automatic 300cc or 450cc quads through the rocky Agafay desert — a stone-and-dune plateau about 30 km southwest of Marrakech, with the High Atlas mountains in the distance. Hotel pickup from the centre of Marrakech (or the nearest riad parking), a short safety briefing and a beginner loop come first; then the group heads out across rolling hills, sandy paths and hidden valleys.

Halfway through, the ride pauses for mint tea at a Berber family home — a calm, authentic break before turning back. Helmets, goggles, gloves and waterproof vests are provided, and a multilingual guide rides with the group from start to finish.

Pick the machine that fits your level: the 300cc automatic is comfortable and beginner-friendly, the 450cc automatic is more powerful and faster on varied terrain. Each engine is offered for 1, 2 or 3 hours; the longer routes push deeper into the plateau and add extra viewpoints.
