Palais Donab is a historic 18th-century palace restaurant on Rue Dar El Bacha in the Marrakech medina, steps from Dar Bacha and within walking distance of Jemaa el-Fna. Set around a traditionally-tiled mosaic pool and patio, the restaurant — named El Bacha — serves classic Moroccan cuisine in an atmosphere of Arabo-Andalusian architecture: hand-painted zellij, carved stucco, and ornamental fountains. The palace hosts both hotel guests and outside diners for lunch and dinner, offering a calm, refined setting away from the medina's bustle.
