What's available to order?

Mint tea (15 MAD), Moroccan coffee with cardamom, and a counter of small cookies, almond pastries, and gazelle horns (3–8 MAD each). That's the entire menu — it hasn't changed much in decades.

Is there table service?

Partly. You order and pay at the counter, then carry your tray to a free bench on the terraces. Staff clear tables but don't take seat orders.

Cash only. Keep small notes — change is usually available but slow.

Café Maure is the classic sunset stop in Rabat — a stepped café terrace built into the ramparts of the Kasbah of the Udayas, with whitewashed walls, blue benches, a single orange tree, and a view straight across the Bou Regreg estuary to the walls of Salé. The menu is deliberately narrow: mint tea, Moroccan coffee, almond cookies, gazelle-horn pastries, and small sweets sold from a glass counter. Cash only, no alcohol, extended daylight hours.
