Ukiyo is a Japanese café and restaurant in Casablanca's Triangle d'Or, named after the "floating world" of feeling at ease far from everyday cares. A flowering cherry tree sits at the heart of the space, surrounded by shelves of manga, origami and a tatami room where guests slip off their shoes. The kitchen serves sushi, ramen, onigiri and Japanese desserts, and an upstairs private karaoke room turns evenings into a lively affair.
