Favela Chic

From South America to Casablanca: Latin restaurant and social club

Reserve now & pay later
Favela Chic brings South America to Casablanca. The room is built as a Brazilian street: painted facades and shuttered balconies, wrought-iron lanterns, climbing greenery and neon signs reading Social Club and Havana Club, with a DJ booth papered in Brazilian state licence plates. The kitchen runs on wood-fire grills, the churrascos that are the house speciality, served with home potatoes, Mexican rice and coleslaw, alongside ceviche-bright salads, crispy tacos, fajitas and a paella de la favela. Signature cocktails arrive in carved tiki mugs. A theme night runs through the week, from R'n'B and reggaeton on Monday to karaoke on Wednesday, and Friday and Saturday belong to the Carnaval de Rio.
