Why is Aourir called Banana Village?

The plain behind the beach is full of banana plantations. Roadside vendors and shops along the main street stock fresh bananas, vegetables and fish. The Wednesday souk in Aourir is the main local market for the area.

Which surf spots can I walk to from Tamraght?

Banana Beach (in front of the village), Devil's Rock / Crocro's (a short walk south) and Panoramas (north toward Taghazout) are all reachable on foot. Anchor Point is roughly 5 km north.

Is Tamraght beachfront?

Not quite. The village sits on a hill ~1 km inland of the beach, separated by the coast road. The walk down to the sand takes 15 to 20 minutes and is flat from the village core.
