Agadir's Atlantic beach runs in a wide crescent for roughly 9–10 kilometres from the marina south to the Souss River mouth and the Royal Palace. The pink-tiled Corniche promenade dates from the city's post-1960-earthquake reconstruction and is open 24 hours.
What to expect
- A wide ceramic boardwalk lined with palms, beach clubs, restaurants and surf-school stands. The bay sweeps in a long crescent of golden sand, sheltered enough for easy swimming.
Best time
- Late afternoon for the light and cooler air. Sunrise is the calmest hour and good for jogging or cycling the full length.
How to combine
- Start at Agadir Marina, walk south along the Corniche past Vallée des Oiseaux, then cut inland to Souk El Had — the three sit on a single north–south axis in central Agadir.
