Place Hassan II
ROYAL PALACE SQUARE
Place Hassan II is the monumental square that bridges Tétouan's Spanish-era Ensanche and the UNESCO medina. The long white façade of the Royal Palace (Dar El Makhzen), with its green-tiled eaves and bronze doors, closes the eastern side; opposite stands the old Spanish town hall. Four bronze-capped columns mark the corners. It is Tétouan's civic heart — the place locals meet, kids play in the evening, and visitors step through Bab er-Rouah into the medina.
