Day 1: Tangier → Chefchaouen
Pickup at your Tangier hotel, airport, or port. Visit Cap Spartel and the Hercules Caves, then drive via Tétouan and the Rif mountains to Chefchaouen. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Day 2: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknès → Fès
Free time in Chefchaouen in the morning. Visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, stop in Meknès to see its historical monuments, then continue to Fès. Overnight in Fès.
Day 3: Fès → Ifrane → Azrou → Midelt → Ziz Valley → Merzouga
Drive into the Middle Atlas with a stop in Ifrane and the Azrou cedar forest, then through Midelt and the Ziz Valley to the Merzouga desert. Sunset camel ride at Erg Chebbi (optional). Dinner and overnight at a desert camp.
Day 4: Merzouga → Rissani → Erfoud → Todra Gorges → Dadès Valley
Optional sunrise in the desert. Visit Rissani and Erfoud, then the Todra Gorges, then continue to the Dadès Valley. Dinner and overnight at a hotel.
Day 5: Dadès Valley → Roses Valley → Skoura → Ouarzazate → Aït Ben Haddou → Tizi n'Tichka → Marrakech
Cross the Roses Valley and Skoura palm groves, stop in Ouarzazate, visit the Aït Ben Haddou kasbah, then climb the Tizi n'Tichka pass before drop-off in Marrakech.
