Villa Salah is let as a whole three bedroom house, so the pool, the garden and the terrace belong to your party alone. The pool is outdoors, with loungers and parasols set out around it, and the grounds are gated with cameras at the entrance. Inside there is air conditioning and free WiFi throughout, and there is private parking on site. The villa sleeps up to seven, three of them on sofa beds, and asks for two nights minimum. An airport transfer can be arranged for an extra charge, which is worth considering given how far out it sits. Bookings through the site currently take up to four guests.
Sidi Hssain lies well outside Marrakech on the southwestern side, in open country rather than in a neighbourhood. There are no cafes or shops to walk to, and the drive into the medina takes around 30 minutes. Come here for quiet and for the space, and plan on a car for everything else, including your evening meal.
