The villa stands on the Ourika road about 31 km southeast of Marrakech, in the farmland where the plain starts to rise toward the High Atlas. It is countryside rather than a village: no shops, no restaurants, nothing within walking distance. Marrakech is roughly 45 minutes by car and the Ourika valley proper begins a little further on, so it works best as a base for the mountains rather than for the city. A car is essential.
