Villa Nahellan is taken as a whole house, with the grounds and the water to your party alone. It is the only villa in this catalogue with an indoor pool, which makes it the sensible choice outside high summer, and the pool has a shallow end for small children. There is an open air bath, sun loungers, a picnic area in the garden and a terrace. Pets are allowed. Packed lunches can be made up and special diet menus prepared on request, horse riding can be arranged nearby and car hire is handled from the property, with valet parking on arrival. Air conditioning and heating run throughout. It sleeps up to eight, three of them on sofa beds, and asks for two nights minimum. Bookings through the site currently take up to four guests.
Douar Bouden Saada lies about 12 km west of Marrakech, out past the edge of the built city in flat open farmland. It is a hamlet, not a district: no shops, no cafes, nothing to walk to after dark. The medina is around 25 minutes by car. What you get instead is space and silence, and with two pools and meals arranged on request it is set up so that you do not have to leave, which is just as well because a car is essential here.
