The Saadian Tombs and the Kasbah Mosque are a few minutes on foot, and Jemaa el Fna is about 800 m north, fifteen minutes through the lanes. It is set up for families more thoroughly than most riads: a heated indoor pool with a shallow end, an indoor play area, children's meals, movie nights and family rooms. There is also a hammam, a spa with massage, a restaurant, a coffee shop and a minimarket on site, plus a shared lounge and evening entertainment with live music. Rooms are air conditioned and heated, an allergy free room is available, and pets are accepted. The Kasbah is the old royal quarter in the south of the medina, built around the Kasbah Mosque, with the Saadian Tombs and the Badi Palace within a few minutes' walk. It is calmer than the souks and the streets are wider, so it is easier going with a pushchair or heavy bags. Jemaa el Fna is about fifteen minutes north, and Bab Agnaou, the gate the taxis use, is close by.
