Riad Lalla Mimouna is in Sidi Mimoune, the quarter between the Koutoubia and the Kasbah in the southern medina of Marrakech. Jemaa el Fna is about 800 m north east, a walk of some fifteen minutes, and the Koutoubia minaret is the landmark to steer by on the way back. This is a small house rather than a hotel: a hammam, a spa with massage, a hot tub and a sun terrace, and that is the list. There is no pool and no restaurant, so dinner means going out, which in this part of the medina is a short walk. Rooms are air conditioned and heated, the house is non smoking throughout, and there is parking, laundry, luggage storage and a cooking class on request. Airport transfers are bookable for an extra charge.
Sidi Mimoune is residential and calm, set between the Koutoubia gardens and the Kasbah, with the Saadian Tombs and the Kasbah Mosque about ten minutes on foot to the south. It is one of the parts of the medina where cars can get reasonably close, and the riad has parking. Jemaa el Fna and the souks are north east, fifteen to twenty minutes away, so nights here are quiet.
