Riad Dar Yassine is a small house on Derb Toudgha in Riad Laarouss, a residential quarter north of Jemaa el Fna. Its rooms are compact, roughly 10 to 14 square metres, each with air conditioning, a private bathroom and bathrobes, and some with a balcony. It does not accept children, so the house stays quiet. There is no swimming pool. Guests spend time on the sun terrace and in the shared lounge instead. The house offers room service, cooking classes and themed dinner nights, and can arrange airport transfers, bike hire and car hire at an extra charge. Choose it if you want a calm, simple riad for adults within walking distance of the souks, and a pool is not a priority.

The neighbourhood

Riad Laarouss is a lived in quarter in the north of the medina, away from the busiest souk lanes. Jemaa el Fna is about 900 m away in a straight line and the Koutoubia Mosque is within walking distance. Paid public parking is available nearby, but cars cannot reach the door, so the last stretch is on foot.
