Riad Contessa & Spa

Riad Contessa & Spa is on Derb El Halfaoui, in the Bab Doukkala quarter at the north western edge of the Marrakech medina. Jemaa el Fna is about 850 m south east, a walk of some twenty minutes, and Dar el Bacha is closer still. The spa is the reason to choose it: a hammam, a sauna, a hot tub and massage treatments, with a pool on the roof that looks out over the quarter. There is a restaurant, a shared lounge and evening entertainment including live music, and the kitchen caters to special diets on request. Rooms are air conditioned and heated, family rooms and children's meals are available, babysitting can be arranged, and pets are welcome, with a basket and bowls provided. Airport pick up and drop off are bookable for an extra charge.
