Riad Almisk is at 362 Rue Boutouil, in the Kasbah quarter in the far south of the Marrakech medina. Jemaa el Fna is about 1.1 km north, twenty minutes on foot, and the Saadian Tombs and the Kasbah Mosque are much closer. There are two pools, one indoors and one out, with a sun terrace, loungers and umbrellas above, and an outdoor fireplace for the evenings, which are cool here from November onwards. Inside there is a hammam, massage treatments, a restaurant with room service, a coffee shop, a shared lounge and a games room with billiards. Breakfast can be taken in the room. The house is non smoking throughout and air conditioned, and the desk handles laundry, luggage storage, express check in, car hire and an airport shuttle.
This is the southern edge of the medina, past the Kasbah, where the lanes are residential and quiet at night. The Saadian Tombs, the Badi Palace and Bab Agnaou are all within a ten minute walk, and Jemaa el Fna is about twenty minutes north. Being this far out means a taxi to the gate and a short walk in, and it also means the medina noise stops well before your door.
