La Villa des Orangers

La Villa des Orangers stands between the Royal Palace and Jemaa el Fna, at the foot of the Koutoubia minaret, and belongs to Relais & Châteaux. It is built the way medina houses are built, around patios and orange trees, with the city kept on the other side of the wall. Most of the rooms and suites have a terrace of their own, and the range runs from a room with a terrace up to a family suite and a private riad inside the property. There is a pool, a restaurant and a spa. Choose it if you want the medina within walking distance but a quiet, low-rise house to come back to, and if a terrace of your own matters more to you than a long list of hotel facilities.
