Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech

Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech sits at Km 12 on the Route d'Amizmiz, in olive country south west of the city near Tameslouht. The estate is built around an 18 hole championship golf course designed by the American architect Cabell B. Robinson, with the Atlas Mountains on the horizon. Accommodation runs from rooms with balconies to suites, penthouses and villas, and even the smallest rooms are large by city standards. The Fairmont Spa covers 3,500 square metres and is laid out like a modern riad. Next to it is a country club style fitness centre with tennis and squash courts and a yoga studio. The main pool is heated, and the spa and fitness centre have their own pools. There are four restaurants and two bars, including the poolside L'Olivier and Al Aïn, and a kids' club for families. This is a resort for golf, the spa and quiet days by the pool. The medina is around 12 km away, so trips into town are by car, and Marrakech Menara airport is about 15 to 20 minutes' drive.
