The View Agadir, formerly the Royal Atlas and Spa, stands on Boulevard 20 Aout, directly on the beach and the promenade. Its advantage over the resorts further south is distance: the centre of Agadir is around 500 metres away, so the town, the cafes and the market are a walk rather than a drive. The hotel is big, with 272 rooms, many with a balcony and a sea view. There are indoor and outdoor pools, some heated, and a sun terrace among the palms, plus a private area on the beach in front. Amayaspa runs to 1,500 square metres, with Moroccan hammam rituals, a heated indoor pool and a steam room. Six restaurants and bars cover Moroccan, Italian and international cooking, and the Chay Lounge serves the tea ritual. The hotel also runs workshops, from yoga and meditation to pottery and painting. Agadir Al Massira airport is about 25 km away.

The neighbourhood

Boulevard 20 Aout runs along the northern half of the bay, where the hotels meet the town. The promenade passes the door, the beach is directly in front, and the centre of Agadir is around 500 metres away, which is what separates this address from the resort strip further south. The marina is north along the sand and Souk El Had a short drive inland.
