Royal Golf Dar Es Salam is the best known golf course in Rabat and the most decorated in Morocco. Robert Trent Jones Sr. laid it out on the initiative of King Hassan II and it opened in 1971 across 440 hectares of cork oak forest in the Souissi district. The club now runs 45 holes split into the Red, Blue and Green courses, and all three are open to visiting players who pay a green fee.
