Where is Anima Garden and how do you get there?

Anima Garden is about 27 km south of Marrakech on the Route de l'Ourika (P2017), toward the Ourika Valley and the Atlas foothills – roughly a 40-minute drive. Most visitors arrive by car, taxi or organised excursion, and a shuttle service from Marrakech has also been reported.

Who created Anima Garden?

The garden was conceived by Austrian multimedia artist André Heller, who developed it over several years and opened it in April 2016. Its winding paths feature his own works, including a spouting mosaic head, alongside pieces linked to artists such as Keith Haring, Igor Mitoraj and Picasso.
