Shop the souk with Chef Aïcha, then cook and feast in a medina riad
Cooking Class in a Riad in Marrakech (MONRIAD) is a 4-to-4.5-hour hands-on Moroccan cooking class in the old medina — you shop the souk with Chef Aïcha, then cook and feast at the riad.
On arrival you are welcomed with traditional Moroccan mint tea. You build the shopping list with Chef Aïcha and head to the traditional souk to pick fresh ingredients, wandering among the spice aromas and local traditions. Back at MONRIAD, you prepare a full Moroccan meal with the chef's guidance, then sit down to the lunch or dinner you cooked on the riad terrace or in the patio.
Sessions run by appointment at 10:30 (lunch) or 17:00 (dinner). Vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free menus are available on request — just share any allergies or intolerances when booking. The class is offered in French, English and Arabic, and your recipes are emailed to you the week after. Reserve online and pay on arrival — no online payment.
