Golf de Mogador is an 18 hole golf course in Essaouira, drawn by the South African champion Gary Player and opened in 2009. It occupies the Domaine de Mogador beside the village of Diabat, a few minutes south of the medina, where eucalyptus and juniper woodland gives way to sand dunes and the Atlantic. A shorter 13 hole South Course and the Mogador Golf Academy share the same estate.
