The Ouarzazate Cinema Museum (Musée du Cinéma) sits opposite the Kasbah of Taourirt on Avenue Mohammed V, next to the town's artisanal complex. Housed in a former film studio, it opened in 2007 and displays vintage film sets, props and cinematic equipment that trace Ouarzazate's role as a major filmmaking hub. Visitors walk through themed sets from ancient-world and biblical productions, a fitting introduction to the region's nickname, the 'Hollywood of Africa'.
