- Royal Golf Club Agadir is the oldest golf course in the Agadir region, officially inaugurated on 28 February 1937 and still run as a volunteer association.
- Green fees are the cheapest of any course around Agadir, at 350 MAD for nine holes and 500 MAD for 18 in high season.
- The nine hole par 36 is technical but flat, so looping it twice for a full 18 is easy on the legs.
- Giant eucalyptus, bougainvillea around the clubhouse and a jacaranda at the gate that flowers blue for three weeks a year give it a garden character the resort courses lack.
- The club academy, founded in 2005, teaches golf free to young people from underprivileged neighbourhoods, and teams made up of its graduates have twice won the Coupe du Trone.
