Berber heritage museum on Passage Aït Souss

Opened on 29 February 2000 — the 40th anniversary of the Agadir earthquake — the Musée Municipal du Patrimoine Amazigh sits on a pedestrian street off Avenue Hassan II. Three floors and ~1,000 m² display roughly 900 documented Amazigh objects from the Souss region: silver jewellery, weaving, pottery, woodwork and carved wooden doors.
